Is there anything I should do to prepare for your arrival?
It's a good idea to make sure that toys are picked up from the floor. We carefully move all reasonable furniture and put it back in place. However, we do ask that you remove all breakables such as lamps, knick-knacks, and photo frames that may be an obstacle for us.

Why do stains keep coming backafter I've had my carpet cleaned?
Like all things you get what you pay for and some cleaners will use cheap detergent or methods that will cause resoiling. Its detergents that are the problem.

So how do you avoid picking a carpet cleaner that uses cheap detergents?
You use one that uses a product that is safe and approved. At Highfield TS we use a range of detergents, depending on the nature of the job, including chemical free and non toxic products. So without getting too technical on you we will not leave any residue behind so resoiling is never a problem.

What are those funny things (blocks or tabs) that you put under my furniture?
They are protective coasters and are there to protect your carpet from rust or furniture stains. You should wait until your carpet is completely dry before removing them.

How long will it take my carpet to dry?
Factors like carpet material and type, and the relative humidity in your home affect the drying time. It can take from 3 to 6 hours to be completely dry, but you can walk on it right after cleaning, if necessary

Does Carpet Protector really work?
Absolutely. Carpet protector is an outstanding product that Highfield TS and other Carpet and Upholstery Care professionals recommend highly. In fact, most new carpet has protector on it - applied by the carpet manufacturer. However, protector wears off because of foot traffic on the carpet, frequent vacuuming, etc.

When can Dry Fusion be used?
The great advantage of DRY FUSION is that it is super quiet and because it is dry it can be used o clean any 24 hour opening building whether staff are working or not. The potential is limitless

Will Dry Fusion clean all carpet types?
DRY FUSION will clean equally well or better than any other system on commonly used synthetic or wool carpets. It will clean carpets that are susceptible to browning better than wet methods and it will clean low pile carpet faster and safer than HWE cleaning methods using portable or truck mounted equipment.
