Like most things, natural stone looks its absolute best when it is clean, and we know just how hard it can be keeping things clean. So whether you have a stone fireplace at home, or a marble lobby in your hotel, at Highfield TS we offer a stonecare service to deepclean, seal, polish or hone your stone. So if you require floor restoration, floor cleaning or a floor polishing service for that shiny floor, give us a call today.

The solutions we use are highly advanced using surfactant technology, some also contain natural soaps and plant extracts. Depending on the area to be cleaned, we usually use rotary brush and pad machines and water extraction machines. Floor tiles cleaning is something we specialise in. Fireplace and smaller areas are cleaned by hand.
The removal of stains from stone can be a challenge and there are some deep rooted ones that are not removable. To avoid serious staining incidents, we always reccomend your stone should be sealed after cleaning. The product we use gives a hard wearing and durable finish, it also enhances natural colours from within the stone. The method of applying the sealer is very important, we come accross many instances where sealents have previously been applied incorrectly. Some stone does not bond well with normal sealing products (eg porcelain and ceramics) so we use a treatment called impregnation to form the required protective shield. For a high gloss finish we have a product that contains Acrylic Resin and Co polymers, this can be used on stone such as travertine, terracotta, york stone etc. For a high shine on granite and marble we use a powder and rotary pad system. Sometimes people choose to change their high gloss finish for a more natural dull look, This is called honeing, and we achieve this with a powder and rotary pad system, for your new look dull floor. Stain Removal
First of all we aim to find out exactly what caused the stain and when. Then we choose a suitable chemical and poultice material for the task.
Should you have a possible stain incident, the best advice is always to wipe it up as soon as possible using only hot water. The use of bleach, vinegar or lemon etc could damage the stone.
